After-Six Diet

Fasting is good for the body. Its because the toxins are drained from your body. Like when doctors asked you to fast for 12 hours to check on your blood. Actually I have experienced being hungry to the point of I get dizzy and shaking from hunger. Its because I was in traffic jam and I cannot just go off the vehicle. So nothing I can do but persevere. Believe it or not, there was a feeling of sensation when I get over it.

7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
This is why some people practices the after six diet. Its a diet that you eat your usual diet but you stop eating at 6pm. Technically we already make a fasting because lets say you eat dinner at 8pm. So you are fasting from 8pm to about 6am the next day. That is 10 hours of fasting. We call it breakfast because you break your fast at the morning.

But as I have researched, its bad for the body that you have to sleep when your stomach is full. Your body should be resting at this time so you do not have to burden it with too much eating. Its bad for your health cause it is overworking the digestive system. My personal recommendation in fasting is that you stopped eating after lunch. After lunch, don't eat anything more. So that your body experience the dizziness and shaking and perspiration. If you did not experience the dizziness and shaking and perspiration, that is not fasting.

The purpose of fasting is to be tested and tempted for you to persevere. Do you know that lions and tigers sleep for about 16 to 20 hours a day? This is fasting you know. I have actually tried the after six diet and I can say it works. So yes, I would advice the after six diet for starters but not all year. Do it for 40 days continuously like Jesus did. If your breakfast is 6am, that makes 12 hours of fasting. Next time, make it 15 hours of fasting next time so its would be an After-three Diet.

It follows that fasting is done in your own time because Jesus fasted alone. Just like when Jesus breaks the Sabbath Day. Because you know your body best. You know it when is the time to exercise, when to fast and when to rest. When you are fatigued or sick, its better to rest. You have to plan when is your exercise and fasting because you also have your career and other activities. Although its fun also when you schedule your fasting with other people and you can have more discipline because someone is watching you.
