My gut feeling is on the affirmative. Because there's a spirit in me that makes me move. Even science and technology cannot explain the spirit. Spirit is what separates the living and the dead. So you got to have faith and persevere until the end.
There are the dead in Christ, these are people who are ignorant of the doctrines of Christ. They sin because they do not know the laws. But now that you know the law, sin no more. Because you will die again. Is it possible to be resurrected. It would be next to impossible but yes. Faith moves mountains.
Thing is you don't know when is the time of your physical death. So as soon as possible, read up and immerse yourself in the doctrines of Jesus. You will find your purpose and you will do things not because you are scared of the after life but it is actually fun to be good to fellow men.

1 Thessalonians 4The dead in Christ means the gentiles or pagans or people who have not yet read the doctrines of Jesus. These are like-minded people. Those who have existing Christian beliefs will have more difficulty in accepting the doctrines of Jesus. The dead in the devil will not understand this.
