1 Timothy 3
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

So Jesus has siblings who do not believe in him. Is this a contradiction cause of the verses above. First of all, Jesus is just a member of this family. He is not the leader of this family. His father leads the family.

That is why Jesus went away to build his own church.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

In those times, there were existing religions and Jesus thought the best way he can help people is to build his church because he has the ways and means.

From the gospel of Metallica The higher you are, the farther you fall. I think this is about the Tower of Babel. There was an earthquake causing the tower to collapse. You know in olden times, there is no building codes yet so this is what happened.

In the time of Jesus, his advice is medium-rise buildings because it is safer and there is also commercial value in the city area so it is a good idea to build vertically so there are commercial spaces available. Why is it medium-rise? Because Jesus advises to be "Not too arrogant, not too humble". You can apply this to the physical world as well.

When you build horizontally, there is comfort because you are not climbing all the time but you walk horizontal and your vision is horizontal which is natural for people. And you can see people and sights from faraway which has calming effect.

I know there are building codes now to make the building quake-resistant so people in high-rise buildings should not worry too much.

In building a house, there are three phases - the design, construction and maintenance.

Design includes making plans and specifications according to your preferred style, site conditions and finances.

When you start construction, you install fencing for safety purposes and to keep out unauthorized persons. You have the security guards and warehousemen as your watch dawgs. These egostistic dawgs are strict and indifferent so for contractors, you have to befriend them or at least be civil with them. You have no choice.
