Steel like sword, knives and bullets should not be used on human flesh. Wars are decisions of the select few so we should not blame the whole nation for it. Of course we cannot fully erase the memories and we should treat it as learning experiences. Like the Philippines has colonizers in Spain, USA and Japan. However those bad memories of colonization were replaced/ are being replaced with goodwill from those countries. People should make new memories. Happy memories. That is why entertainers, politicians and persons of influence should realize their moral obligations. They can amuse, inspire, make people laugh, cry, sing and dance.
